Abstract:

This is the project that defined my path as a Design Consultant. My friends / colleagues / boss ladies, Daniella & Laura, invited me to collaborate in this project to work with DrumWave, a Data Value company based in Brazil and Palo Alto, California. Learned so much from the exceptional founders and team.

The challenge was to create a design system based on the existing brand. After going through a thorough analysis, I managed to develop a brand book with guidelines to present the brand both visually and strategically. Dani and Lau developed a strategy for content and communications and I helped to develop the creative assets, this was truly a team effort.

This experience also gave me a big lesson, learn to embrace and love data. In modern times, with big allegations of bias, of platforms sharing or 'taking' advantage of our information, we often focus in that point of view only, but I acknowledge that is our own responsibility as users and that if we are conscious of the information we allow to share we can take that to our own advantage and also helps to improve our interactions, content, information received, etc. Data is the present and the future.
